Monetization taboos

As the FLIIST team gets closer to the launch of the platform implementation, there are a number of practices that won't have a place on the platform:

• Hidden advertisements: When referring to the fliist with affiliate links, the user must be aware that the person who posted the selection earns money from it.

• Contextual advertising: FLIIST will refrain from collecting enough data about users to set up contextual advertising and place them in another “information bubble.”

• Advertising of controversial products.

The FLIIST monetization model will allow the platform to act in the interests of the community, rather than being controlled by advertisers.
