AURA: Priorities and principles

When allocating points, ranking units that are subsequently converted into FAV tokens, the AURA algorithm is guided by a number of requirements for user activity:

The principle of involvement

Rewards for users who describe themselves as fully and interestingly as possible when filling out the profile. This will make it more interesting and mutually beneficial for users to interact with each other.

The principle of usefulness

Basic moderation controls will remove automatically generated content that is not useful for the community and doesn't resonate with FLIIST users. Instead, author recommendations— which we call flists — that are referenced, saved, and commented on by other users will receive more generous rewards

The principle of permanence

For the sustainability of the ecosystem, priority will be given to users who have been active for a long time. If they stop being active, some of the bonus points will be removed from the reward sheet, or “burned off.”

Active users who create a network effect by spreading the word about FLIIST to newcomers and driving the platform’s activity can expect to be rewarded generously.

The AURA algorithm rewards points in four categories:

  • One-time accruals: The purpose is to onboard new users to the platform, creating an incentive to fill out a profile and create flists. In this case, users are rewarded on a one-time basis.

  • Basic accruals: The purpose is to stimulate platform activity on FLIIST by making and reposting flists.

  • Bonus accruals: The purpose is to encourage active users to create and maintain a group of a constant and highly motivated user base. Users are rewarded with bonuses for hitting each milestone such as making 100/500/700/1,000 flists or regular attendance on the platform.

  • Ecosystem accruals: The purpose is to create and maintain the user’s connection to the global FLIIST product.

The counter mechanisms of activity stimulation will be gradually “burning off” bonus accrual points due to inactivity. Also, a ban will nullify the bonus balance in case of dishonest behavior.

The team and community reserve the right to change the mechanism of converting points into FAV tokens, depending on the real-time progress of the project and the cryptocurrency market conditions.

Each of these changes will be aimed at improving the conditions for the project’s community. In the future, FAV will acquire the features of a governance token so that holders will be able to vote for important changes in the project according to the DAO principle.

In order to convert points into tokens, the account holder will have to go through relevant Know Your Customer procedures.
